Rare Antique 1920s Sheer Netted Rhinestone, Beaded Drop Waist Wedding Dress with Massive Skirt, netted Train that is narrow at the waist and opens up into a very wide train embedded with Satin Bows. Gorgeous wide skirt is to die for with gathering and ruffles with bows and a pink bow in the center. Sheer netted high scoop neck top of the dress has a lovely leaf design, silver beading and Rhinestones set into the leaves. Netted sleeves are gently pouffed, small shoulder pads beneath and come to a V at the hand with a small snap to open at wrist. I almost fainted when I found this dress. I had it on my Mannequin for a few weeks just so I could stare at how stunning it really was. The drop waist is so flattering, there are a few darts at the bust-line, and the skirt is so wide and gorgeous and will move so incredibly as you walk down the aisle. One of the most magical vintage dresses I have ever seen. In such amazing condition considering its age. It has a full bodice satin lining which has a thicker (I think) acetate at the bottom which gives the dress more body at the bottom. I could not open the train as much as I would have like to for the photos but it is long and magnificent. *Please note the dress is more of an off-white ivory than white. The camera and natural light in my place made it look more white. The back is also stunning. There are 32 round buttons that run down the back of the dress and are covered with satin with perfectly intact cross over closures. There is one satin bow which is off center at the waist which I thought was such a unique design choice. There are a few bows at the back as well, and there are hooks for people who walk down the aisle with you to hold to widen the train as you walk down the aisle.

** FOUND FLAWS: *I found two small flaws (separations) in the netting at the back under the waist which I mended and there are two little holes in the fabric in the front near the drop waist which I decided not to mend as it would show and really I think it's better left alone. *There was also a separation of the netting near the arm pit on the left side (5th Photo), and under the leaf next to the sleeve. I mended it as best I could to hopefully secure it enough to not separate again. A bit of satin does show through but it is not highly visible. If you want photos of the mending I would be happy to send it to you. *There are very faint sweat marks under the armpits, but not highly visible. They are on the inside lining. You might be able to have a good sewer replace that area inside the armpit of the dress if it bothers you. A good sewer could cut out that are and replace it. *There are some small age holes in the train, also in the scope of things not highly visible. This is just such magnificent dress, and I surely hope it finds someone who will love it as much as I, and can't wait to see photos of the woman who choose this Antique masterpiece on her special day!
