Antique Early 1900s Pink Floral Brocade Peplum Jacket with Lace Ruffled Trim Nehru Collar and Lace Ruffle Sleeves. Hand stitched lining. I do believe that the zipper was placed into this magnificent jacket at a later time, but I am just guessing. The lace is in good condition other than one small separation in the cuff of the left sleeve which I mended with a few stitches, and is not apparent when worn. I also secured the bottom of the zipper at the inside on the bottom of zipper as it had separated a wee bit. There is one small discoloration under the waist on the left side which is barely noticeable. I noted the spot in the second to last photo(enlarge to see spot.) Considering the age of this magnificently gorgeous jacket it is really in spectacular condition. I styled this jacket with another dress I am selling, but it would look just as amazing with a pair of jeans. The background is a soft peachy pink, and the flowers are a mauvier pink. There is a slight shimmer to the background fabric. I was really floored when I found this jacket, and it is a hard one to give up, but I will never fit into it again, so I am hoping it finds someone who will love and cherish is as much as I have. It really is spectacularly beautiful!
