Vintage Show Girl 1950s White and Gold Sequin Beaded Pearlized Fringed Velvet Corset. Three rows of hooks. I have saved this corset for over thirty years. My daughter used it in a music video, and it was used for a photoshoot I did for my friend Louise Green's Millinery Catalogue Shoot. I also shot my assistant Vlada (dreads) in it over 20 years ago in LA before the lace halter was added for my daughter. You can certainly remove it. **Side Story**This Corset also survived a Huge fire in my Home. Makes it all the more precious! That is why you will see some greyish discoloring on the sides. (there is no smell as it has been professionally cleaned.) The Velvet is more on the ivory side. The discolorations at the side are not a distraction from this glorious corset! The bodice is so fabulouso with swirls of Golden Sequins and small circular pearlized beading, and beautiful tiny iridescent fringed beading. I never had the garters but, you could find some if you want to wear with stockings, but so incredible as a top!Two sets of hook and eyes. The inside is clean and in great shape. Bones all intact. I did secure the fringed beading by adding extra stitching. This is really something I think you will treasure as I have! So many ways you can wear it. Even with a Wedding Skirt! Please note a few of the beaded fringe are not as stable as the others, and IU did have to cut a few of the fringe threads that lost their beads. Overall totally awesome and wearable for a long time tocome...
